The Model

Field Alignment

The network is aligned to the national CVI Action Plan. The Action Plan is the strategy. The network is the implementation engine that runs it, never downstream of it.

The Seven Priority Areas

How the network carries the Action Plan into practice

Every chapter qualified, every toolkit released, and every standardization survey run translates the Action Plan into operational practice at the chapter and regional level.

Priority areaHow the network operationalizes it
Core Challenges in the CVI FieldSurfaces honestly in chapter Power Maps and the qualification process, so each chapter applicant names the real conditions on the ground before the chapter emerges.
A Vision for the FieldCarried through the national network brand, the chapter model, and the Build Peace Framework.
Capacity Building, Wellness, and ProfessionalizationDelivered inside the toolkit through training, operating procedures, practitioner pathways, and the Neighborhood Influencers content inside the Cross Neighborhood Method.
Fieldwide CollaborationAchieved through the regional coordination structure, monthly national tap ins, and chapter to chapter alignment across regions.
Grassroots, Local, State, and Federal Policy Development and AdvocacyBuilt into the Power Map itself, through the organizing power category, and into chapter graduation into statewide coalitions.
Narrative ChangeDriven by the national platform, the chapter qualification process, the panel and webinar mechanism, and the stories each chapter produces.
Research, Evaluation, Quality Improvement, and Impact AnalysisEmbedded in the local database, the national dashboard, the Researcher role, and checklist driven data capture across chapters.
The Spine

Standardization of Essential CVI Elements

Shared definitions, data driven performance management, and direct service coordination are the spine of the model. They run through every piece of the toolkit, every regional standards menu, and every chapter qualification cycle.

The network does not standardize the field with one uniform national language. It standardizes by region, with a menu of options, and every regional menu maps back to the Action Plan priority areas so the work stays anchored to the field.

Bring the Action Plan to a city

A chapter is how the Action Plan reaches the ground. It begins with the Power Map.
